For any of the group having questions on the successful use of needlefish plugs..Dennis has the answers. In D.J. Muller's book The Surfcaster's Guide to the Striper Coast he refers to DZ as, "...the Needle-Master..!"
Dune's Club Passes: The February meeting will be your last chance to fill-out an application for a Dune's pass.
The passes are for "paid" members only. See Cliff at the start of the meeting for an application. If you haven't paid your dues yet it's still $35 / yr.
Annual Awards Banquet: Tickets will be on sale at the February meeting. The tickets are $25, with a cash bar. See Bob Barlas for a ticket or to hold a spot. The banquet is always a good time to mingle before the fishing season starts. There will be plenty of plugs and tackle for the raffles.

Guest Speaker: Steve Cook from the Saltwaters' Edge
Topic: Fly Fishing 101, Fishing the Salt
For any of our group who would like to venture into fly fishing the surf, this is the meeting to attend. Steve has a
wealth of knowledge in both fly fishing and surfcasting. He'll explain what equipment is best suited for the
beginner to advanced fly fisherman. Steve has fished our Narragansett waters and can relate to any area you've fished.
Bring plenty of questions on tackle, rods, reels, line weight, flies, whatever !
FYI: There's still a group of fly fisherman in the upper Narrow River and they're hooking up !!! Come to the sweet side of fishing..!
